Friday, July 19th, 2013

A web show called SI Now, backed by Sports Illustrated, recently did a segment talking about the main event at UFC 162: Silva Vs Weidman, and the response from fans calling it a fixed fight. In the cringe inducing segment it was painfully clear neither of the panelist had even bothered to watch the fight, and although no one said they thought the fight was fixed, the whole thing smelled of phoned in research and foolishness. Earlier today UFC President Dana White went on the show himself, and although the anchor tries to rationalize their angle on the matter, you don’t want to miss his reaction to the call. It is sort of amazing they released this footage.
