Khabib Nurmagomedov has accepted the challenge of Donald Cerrone.

Even prior to defeating Jim Miller, Cerrone let it be known he would welcome a fight with the unbeaten Nurmagomedov, who has had trouble finding an opponent in the UFC's lightweight division.

Now, with "Cowboy" riding a four-fight win streak - all of which have been finishes - he has heard back from Nurmagomedov.

"Let's go," the fourth-ranked Nurmagomedov wrote on Twitter after Cerrone's second round knockout win over Miller. "I'm ready."

Nurmagomedov (22-0) is coming off three straight decision wins over Rafael dos Anjos, Pat Healy and Abel Trujillo. He is 6-0 since signing with the UFC in 2012.

Later, Nurmagomedov added in a message sent to UFC president Dana White that "I want 5 rounds with Cerrone, I want to test myself."
