In a statement received by Fighters.com from Nevada State Athletic Commission's Executive Director Keith Kizer, All fighters from UFC 160: Velasquez Vs Bigfoot II passed their drug tests with the exception of Brian Bowles. According to the statement, Bowles testosterone to epitestosterone (TE) ratio was 20-1. That's more than 3 times the legal limit for the state of Nevada.

Brian Bowles was defeated by George Roop via technical knockout in the second round of their bout. Bowles, a former WEC Bantamweight Champion, was returning to the octagon after more than a year and a half since his previous fight to Urijah Faber at UFC 139 in 2011. With two losses in a row, and a drug test this extreme, his future with the promotion is at the very least uncertain.

Keith Kizer, NSAC:

All athletes tested. All results negative, except Brian Bowles tested positive for an elevated T/E ratio (> 20). A complaint will be forthcoming.
