The inaugral first light heavyweight tournament held under the Bellator banner has already produced some "highlight reel" moments for the upstart promotion. In the quarter-finals, Richard Hale produced a Toby Imada-esque ending when he was able to submit Nike Fekete with an inverted triangle choke. The win helped propel Hale into the semi-finals of the 205-pound tourney, and has since produced over 350k views on Youtube. It's for sure an early candidate for "Submission of the Year", and while Christian M'Pumbu's knockout victory over Tim Carpenter this past weekend may not have been as "flashy", it was impressive nonetheless. And that's why, M'Pumbu is awarded the highly unofficial "Knockout of the Night" award. ...
