Shark Fights is quickly becoming one of the stronger regional promotion's in the country. There secret to success has been the use of top tier talent in one or two fight stints. With names such as UFC and Srtrikeforce vets Paul Daley, Jorge Masvidal, Trevor Prangley, and Keith Jardine having made their way through the organization, Shark Fights is yet again delivering the goods with more notable fighters gracing their upcoming event. In the main-event of the evening, UFC veteran Chris Camozzi will be taking on former EliteXC title challenger Joey Villasenor in middleweight clash with more fighters gracing the card that the general public would be all too familiar with. ...
It’s been quite an interesting journey for upstart Texan promotion Shark Fights. Shark Fights 13 marked the promotion’s first foray onto Pay-Per-View, with names like Keith Jardine and Houston Alexander filling the card. Yesterday’s Shark Fight 14 event marked the promotion’s debut on HDNet, with some pretty interesting and drastic changes to the promotion’s visual aesthetic. And while it may not have had a whole lot of finesse, Shark Fights 14 was a fun little event. Here are the full results as well as some commentary on Shark Fights 14. ...
Former UFC vets will be headlining another stellar night of fights under the "Shark Fights" banner, as the surging Danillo Villefort will be taking on tested veteran Matt Horwich in the main-event of the evening. Also in action, the heralded female star Tara LaRosa will be making her promotional debut alongside Carina Damm in a 125-pound match-up that is sure to produce fireworks. The supporting cast of the HdNet televised card all successfully made weight for Saturday's card, though the preliminary portion of the event had a less than ample time in meeting their desired weight classes. ...
What’s more important: being big enough to be on Pay-Per-View, or signing a television deal? Answer: it really doesn’t matter, Shark Fights has now done both. We’re now only a few days away from Shark Fights 14, which sees the promotion make its televised debut on HDNet. In the main event, Matt Horwich and Danillo Villefort take center stage. The co-main event will also be an interesting match-up, as Tara LaRosa fights Carina Damm. As is customary, here is my official “picks and predictions” post (covering who I think will win and why), now featuring Shark Fights 14. ...

In a little under a week, upstart Texan promotion Shark Fights will be holding their fourteenth event, and the first event to air on HDNet after the promotion signed a contract with the premium channel in late February of this year. Shark Fights is currently riding a wave of momentum leading into their HDNet debut, with their September 11, 2010 Pay-Per-View show “Shark Fights 13” being their biggest show to date and a rather entertaining show for a regional promotion. The card for Shark Fights 14 has undergone several changes, but it now appears official that the promotion will broadcast a live five-fight card on March 11, 2011. Here are all the details. ...
Shark Fights 13 was a significant landmark in the career of popular UFC fighter “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine. Unfortunately for all involved, the landmark was “rock bottom”. What should have been the first triumphant step in the long road back to the UFC became another nail in the coffin, as veteran MMA fighter Trevor Prangley took Jardine to a three-round decision and ultimately handed him his fifth straight loss in a row. In a post-fight interview with Sherdog.com, Jardine gave his immediate feelings on the event and his opponent. ...
While Shine Fights went off without a hitch on Friday night, surprisingly enough, and put together an action night of fights, it may have been trumped by Shark Fights 13, which was held just the day after. Though both events were pay-per-view affairs, I would contest that Shark Fights probably pulled in larger numbers due to the heavy saturation of MMA notables littered on the card. While all bouts proved to be interesting in their own right, there was one fight that rose above the rest, and apparently the Shark Fights execs believe the same to be true. ...
It’s that time again, fans and friends. Another regional MMA promotion has taken their shot at the big-time, as Shark Fights just concluded its “Shark Fights 13” event live on Pay-Per-View, featuring a main event between hard-hitting veterans Keith Jardine and Trevor Prangley. Even though it was a night filled with decisions, there were some pretty good fights both on the live undercard stream on Sherdog.com and the main card on PPV. Here are all the results and my thoughts. ...
Today marks a pivotal turning point in the surging Shark Fights promotion, as weigh-ins were held to make their upcoming Pay-Per-View card “Shark Fights 13” official. Featuring a main event between Keith Jardine and Trevor Prangley, Shark Fights 13 looks to be a solid card admittedly filled with a majority of ex-UFC stars. However, they're some pretty intriguing fights for what they’re worth, and the only problem that arose during the weigh-ins was that Paul Daley once again missed the mark. ...
For a man once highly touted as the next big can’t-miss fighter at Light Heavyweight, times certainly are tough nowadays for Keith Jardine. Jardine’s five-year, thirteen-fight career in the UFC came to an unfortunate end in June of this year, when Jardine’s loss to Matt Hamill made “The Dean of Men” 0-4 in his last four fights. Ironically, Jardine’s performance was good enough to get him a “Fight of the Night” bonus, but not enough to stave off the dreaded pink slip, as Jardine was cut from the organization shortly after losing. Now back on the independent/lower-tier circuit for the first time in almost six years, Jardine recently spoke to Sherdog.com and filled his fans in on where his head is at as he enters a new chapter in his career. ...

Here are all the details regarding the upcoming card and the upcoming stream. ...
