While DREAM's fate seems all but sealed, there is still a place for the organization's fighters in the mixed martial arts world. Current DREAM featherweight champion Hiroyuki Takaya, who recently claimed the bout in his last outing when he avenged a previous loss in a rematch with Bibiano Fernandes, will be returning to the cage come this April when he debuts in the strikeforce organization. And while his country has been ravaged by tsunamis and earthquakes which has taken the lives of ten's of thousands of people, Takaya, along with Tatsuya Kawajiri of DREAM, will be representing their organization and more importantly their country come fight time. ...
DREAM featherweight champion Bibiano Fernandes appears to have made amends with the Japanese promotion. Earlier this year, Fernandes criticized the organization of lude conduct when they failed to compensate the Brazilian when he successfully defended his title against former DREAM lightweight champion Joachim Hansen last March. However, the two sides have since made nice when the promotion paid their champion a little over a month ago and he will now return and attempt to defend his title for a second time against a familiar foe in Hiroyuki Takaya, which will all culminate at the end of this year. ...

A featherweight title fight in September apparently won't stop the Joe Warren train from booking a second fight, overseas at that, in the same month. The aforementioned featherweight will be facing Bellator 145-pound champion Joe Soto on September 2. in San Antonio, Tex. for the title. Earning his crack at the belt, Warren fought his way through the season two, 8-man featherweight tourney, after claiming victories over Eric Marriott, Georgi Karakhanyan, and finally a split decision over the previously undefeated Patricio Freire for the season's $100,000 check and number one contenders spot. ...
