Light heavyweight Emanuel Newton (10-3-1) tapped UFC vet David Heath (9-4) in a rear naked choke at 4:42 of of the second round Friday night in Edmonton. Heath never had a chance versus an aggressive Newton who held on to back control for most of the first round. In the second, Newton shrugged off a Heath footlock, scrambled into side control, then took Heath's back to secure the submission.
