UFC 121 "Lesnar vs. Velasquez" Officially Announced
The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently released the official lineup for their upcoming UFC 121 event, and it should come as no surprise that Brock Lesnar defending his UFC Heavyweight Championship against Cain Velasquez has taken center stage as the show’s main event. Brock Lesnar was last seen pulling off one of the biggest, best comebacks of 2010, absorbing all former UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin had to give him for five full minutes, then submitting Carwin via Arm Triangle Choke early in the second round. Cain Velasquez’s last fight saw him demolish the once-unbreakable chin of PRIDE FC legend Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira. UFC 121 will take place October 23 in Anaheim, California, and features a star-studded main card in addition to the big-money main event.

Forrest Griffin on the mend, Calls for Jones vs Silva
Forrest Griffin, the first ever winner of the famed reality series “The Ultimate Fighter”, has become a bit of an entrepreneur in the days he spends outside of the octagon.
While the former light heavyweight champion has been on the mend since having necessary shoulder surgery following his win over Tito Ortiz at UFC 106 in November of last year, he has taken the opportunity to follow up his best selling book “Got Fight?” with another reader-pleaser, and is now en route on a book tour across the country.
How relevant are the Veterans today?
Does Tito Ortiz still peak interest with MMA fans?
How about Kazushi Sakuraba? Does the “Gracie Hunter” still make you wish you would have paid attention to Japanese manga more and bought a cheap leatard and called yourself a wrestler?
Well, I didn’t think so.
Tito Ortiz: Charges Will Not Be Filed
It seems we have come to the end of the ordeal involving “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz (15-7-1) and his girlfriend Jenna Jamesson as Tito will not be prosecuted for domestic violence.
TMZ once again scoops the entire mixed martial arts (MMA) world by announcing that the Orange County District Attorney rejected the case based on “insufficient corroboration to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he attacked his girlfriend Jenna Jameson.”
Tito was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence after officers were called to the couple’s residence on April 26 in Huntington Beach, California.
The lack of charges filed likely stems from the constant changing story of Jenna. Originally she stated Tito had been physical with her. Tito stated he found the pill Oxycontin in her pants and this was the reason for the argument.
Later Chip Matthews, Tito’s lawyer, told Sherdog that the incident had been a “misunderstanding” and the couple was moving towards reconciliation.
Then Jenna recanted once again and the District Attorney decided to take a look at the charges.
I am sure all the MMA fans worldwide are happy to see an end to “As the World Turns” starring Jenna and Tito.
