Corbbrey also failed to make weight at 163.5 pounds. He has agreed to fight at the catch weight of 168 pounds and will take a portion of Diaz’s purse.
Diaz was aware that he wouldn’t make weight and contacted EliteXC officials and Corbbrey’s camp in advance of the weigh-in Friday.

EliteXC announced Thursday that 160-pound Nick Diaz (15-7) will fight Muhsin Corbbrey (7-2) in Honolulu 14 June.
Diaz’s manager, Cesar Gracie, also announced Diaz has verbally agreed to fight Marcelo Garcia (0-1) in Tokyo 29 April.
Diaz hasn’t fought since loosing an EliteXC 160-pound title bout versus “KJ” Karl James Noons (6-2) due to cuts last November.
Diaz was scheduled to fight “The Korean Icepick” Jae Suk Lim (9-4) in San Jose last month, but was denied a license to fight by the California State Athletic Commission.
Corbbrey would appear in his third EliteXC event versus Diaz. In October he submitted then-undefeated Bobby McMaster (7-2) in a guillotine choke in the first round.
Gracie said American Top Team’s Garcia agreed to fight Diaz at DREAM.2, but is currently reconsidering. DREAM has not officially announced the fight.
Garcia debuted in MMA last October in a TKO loss to Korean Dae Won Kim (4-3).
