Yesterday on MMA Gospel Radio we had a massive three hour show with five amazing guests, one of which was Ryan Thomas (12-4) who just recently lost via one of the worst stoppages in mixed martial arts (MMA) history. He lost to Ben Askren (4-0) via a non verbal submission due to an arm triangle. The referee thought he had gone out when he was not even close to being put to sleep. Light heavyweights “All American” Brian Stann (7-2) and “Sho Nuff The Master” Rodney Wallace (9-0) will matchup at SpikeTV’s The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale in Las Vegas December 5, the UFC confirmed Tuesday.
Marcus Aurélio Returns to Octagon at UFC 102, Cancels Shine Fight
ATT lightweight “Maximus” Marcus Aurélio (18-7) will return to the UFC at 102 in Portland 29 August versus Xtreme Couture’s Evan Dunham (7-0), Fighters.com has confirmed.
Aurélio was originally scheduled to fight Carlo Prater (24-7-1) at Shine II in Miami 4 September, but has cancelled the fight to return to the Octagon.
Aurélio replaces Matt Veach (8-0) and tapped Joey Gorczynski (13-7) in a rear naked choke at 5150 Combat League in Oklahoma 27 June.
Undefeated Dunham knocked out Per Eklund (14-4-1) in his UFC debut at 95 in London 19 February.
