Former UFC and WEC heavyweight Justin Eilers (18-6-1) was killed by gunfire Christmas night, 2008 at the home of his mother Gwen Moore in Nampa, Idaho. Eilers’ stepfather, James Malecin was later arrested and arraigned for the murder.
 
Malec, convicted of manslaughter in September, was sentenced Friday to serve at least 6.5 years and as long as 15 years for the deadly shooting according to a report by The Idaho Statesman.

Wilson Reis (5-0) won a unanimous decision over Bryan Caraway (10-3).

Carl Seumanutafa (4-0) KO’d Mike Cook (5-2) by slam at 1:21 of round one.

Drew Montgomery (5-3) TKO’d Brandon Tarns (1-2) by doctor stoppage at 4:23 of round three.
