UFC Lightweight Rafael dos Anjos picked up the biggest win of his career last night when he narrowly defeated Evan Dunham by unanimous decision at UFC On FX 8: Belfort Vs Rockhold in Brazil. Fans across social media seem to be in agreement that Dunham should have been the winner of the bout, but dos Anjos said he knew he did enough in the second and third round to get him the win on Saturday night in Brazil. Dos Anjos also said the cut he received didn’t bother him, and he is ready to step in the octagon with anyone the UFC wants him too.

UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson is quietly making his case for a title-shot with a trio of first-frame knockouts in his immediate rear-view mirror including a recent clubbing of Cheick Kongo. The 36-year old isn’t sure who he’ll be booked against next but he has his sights set on a few options, all of whom he sees as serving his purpose of competing for a belt before the end of 2013.

“Big Country” took some time to talk about his immediate future in an interview with Inside MMA where he also credited his financial gain from a couple of performance-based bonuses with helping him raise his skill-level as evident over the past few fights.

“I’ve taken that money that I’ve earned with these bonuses and re-invested in myself.”

“My biggest focus is Cain Velasquez and Antonio Silva. I’m eyeing that gold, but I’m always down to fight anybody.”

When the UFC purchased Pride they had planned on buying out Hunt’s contract but Hunt pleaded with them to give him a fight instead. Hunt lost his UFC debut, but has since gone 4-0 in the Octagon and finishing three of his opponents by knockout.

UFC 160: Velasquez Vs Bigfoot II takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 25. The card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between current Champion Cain Velasquez and Antonio Silva. The two fought as potential contenders at UFC 146, but it was Velasquez who won the fight via technical knockout in the second round.

Schiavello sits down with UFC President Dana White for his next installment, and we have a sneak peek at the video. In the clip, Schiavello asks White who makes him uncomfortable.

While the directness of White’s answer may surprise you, his answer probably won’t…

“Nobody can make me feels uncomfortable. Nobody makes me feel uncomfortable. Like what I said about Randy Couture. He’s 100% a man in the Octagon, and he’s the furthest thing from a man outside the Octagon. He was sitting three tables from me at a restaurant right after that. I could care less. It’s a fact, what I said about him is true.  Frank Shamrock is an idiot. What I said about him is absolutely true. And anybody who knows him knows it’s true.”

Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis is spending part of his camp in Brazil ahead of his title featherweight title fight against Jose’ Aldo at UFC 163. Pettis fielded some questions from the press at a recent event and spoke about how much he was enjoying Rio, how he was able to spend part of  his camp in Brazil, and how he would fight night Nate Diaz because it would be an easy pay day. UFC 163 takes places August 3 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez is in the middle of his second camp training for Antonio Silva. The two heavyweights went toe to toe as contenders, and it was Velasquez who won the fight via technical knockout in the second round. This time its for all the marbles as Velasquez has since reacquired his belt from Junior dos Santos, and now he will have to defend it at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 25. Check out the champion’s UFC 160: Velasquez Vs Bigfoot II pre-fight Interview below.

Frankie Edgar is the only UFC fighter to get three losses in a row, and have them all be title fights. The losses put him in a very unique position, they are to the number one guys in their respective divisions, but to a fighter’s mind they are still losses. Edgar is preparing for his UFC 162 fight with Charles Oliveira and he took some time to talk to the media at the UFC Harold Square Takeover. Edgar spoke about fighting for 3 rounds instead of five, the pressure of losing three in a row, and even talks about his first fight in New York which was unsanctioned.

UFC Lightweight turned Featherweight Anthony Pettis is getting ready for his UFC 163 Aldo Vs Pettis championship bout against current champion Jose Aldo. Pettis is about to head down to Brazil for the first time for some training, but he took time to speak to the media at the UFC Herald Square Take Over fan event last week. Pettis discussed the type of fighter he will be facing at UFC 163, the new weight cut, and why he is planning on a finish in his 145lb debut.

After UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones defended his title against Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 in Newark, New Jersey, the future of the division’s title picture hinged on the toe of the champion. In a report on UFC Tonight it was announced that the injury wasn’t as bad as previously thought, and in fact the bone wasn’t even broken it was dislocated. While it is still unknown how long Jones will be on the sideline, but Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Robert Klapper discussed a possible timetable for the champ.

Pat Healy looked like he got hit by a truck after his fight of the night and submission of the night win over Jim Miller at UFC 159: Jones Vs Sonnen, but he feels like a million a bucks. The two went back and forth the entire fight, but when the last round was beginning it was clearly Healy’s fight. Healy was able to overwhelm Miller with punches to force a scramble on the ground, and he cinched up the rear naked choke to get the tap and earn himself a bonus check of $130,000. This is what he had to say right after the fight.

The UFC 159: Jones Vs Sonnen weigh ins take place today in front of tomorrow night’s card, and you can watch all the action right here on Fighters.com. He may have lost the season of The Ultimate Fighter as a coach, but Defending Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will be looking to make sure that’s all Chael Sonnen wins from him. In the co-main event, Michael Bisping and Alan Belcher will try and cash the tickets their mouths cashed in the run up to the event, and they will fight to find out who will most likely back out of their bets for the fight.

Bisping took part in the UFC 159: Jones Vs Sonnen media day festivities and he doesn’t disappoint. The count discusses his thoughts on TRT, women’s MMA and even discusses his feelings on the passing of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Bisping fights Alan Belcher Saturday night in the co main event. UFC 159: Jones Vs Sonnen will be headlined by a light heavyweight championship fight between defending champion Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen. The card takes place Saturday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
