BREAKING - UFC 108: Steve Cantwell Versus Vladimir Matyushenko Called Off

Light heavyweight “Robot” Steve Cantwell (7-2) “may never fight again” due to an unspecified medical issue according to UFC President Dana White. Cantwell’s fight versus “Janitor” Vladimir Matyushenko (23-4) has been removed from the card at UFC 108 in Las Vegas Saturday.

White wouldn’t disclose the nature of Cantwell’s ailment at the UFC 108 pre-fight press conference Wednesday.

UFC 108 will go on with ten bouts (as of today), five to air on pay-per-view, two on SpikeTV, and the first three for the live audience.

Matyushenko has been promised a return on a future UFC card.
