In 2006, two UFC rookies stepped into the Octagon for the first time.
One walked out of the cage with an important victory under his belt. The other was Alan Belcher.
Now, a half-dozen years later, Belcher is determined to even the score with Yushin Okami at UFC 155.
“I want it a lot more than he does,” Belcher said during this exclusive video interview with Fighters.com:
The Mississippi middleweight known as “The Talent” will square off against his longtime rival, Japanese southpaw “Thunder” Okami, on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas.
During his conversation with Jennifer Robles and Chance Nguyen of Fighters.com, Belcher said his approach to beating Okami is simple:
“I’m prepared to get nasty… and take the win any way I can.”

Can Yushin do it again?
