Long before Kenny Florian stepped into the Octagon, he sat wide-eyed in front of his TV watching Bruce Lee dominate a martial arts tournament on Mr. Han’s mysterious island in Enter the Dragon. Years before Florian emerged as a first-season standout on The Ultimate Fighter, he watched in awe as Jean-Claude Van Damme spin-kicked his way to stardom in Bloodsport.
Fighters.com recently caught up with Florian for a series of video chats about everything and everything – fighting, traveling, gambling, retirement, the global expansion of MMA, and whatever else popped up in conversation.

No lie – I attribute Bloodsport to my initial love of MMA. I remember seeing it in a theater with my mom when I was like 12.
