Georges St-Pierre Thanks Benson Henderson for Blueprint to Beating Nick Diaz

Now the cat’s out of the bag and the UFC has confirmed welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will face Nick Diaz in March rather than Johny Hendricks or Anderson Silva, GSP is starting to talk about his upcoming tilt with the Stockton scrapper and recently gave some insight on his gameplan. Though he avoided specific details, as might be expected, “Rush” explained he’d taken some notes while watching lightweight title-holder Benson Henderson successfully defend his belt against Nate Diaz last weekend (i.e. Nick’s younger brother).

St-Pierre had a chance to talk to Henderson, who was serving as part of Fuel TV’s coverage of the Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale, and offered his gratitude towards “Bendo” for his unintentional assistance…

“That funny you asked that question because I watched very carefully your fight against Nate Diaz. I’m going to try to use some of the stuff you have done in the fight to win over Nick Diaz, as well. I’m going to learn from what you did and try to apply it in my game plan. Thanks for showing me the blueprint.”

Fight won’t happen, Nick won’t show. Better learn something quick GSP, cause you are gonna face Hendricks in placement of Diaz!

He just has to make sure he doesn’t get baited in. Since Diaz’s trash talk got him the fight with St. Pierre maybe it’ll mess him up in the fight too.

Condit did a similar thing to Nick in their fight too. Pretty sure GSP is gonna dominate Diaz.
