Alistair Overeem: “I’m gonna beat up Brock Lesnar…”

Typically opposing fighters enter a bout full of confidence but rarely is it at the level exuded by heavyweights Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem a few weeks out from their main event match-up on December 30 at UFC 141. Ask either behemoth and he’s likely to tell you he will not only beat the other but destroy him in devastating fashion.
Such behavior was on display in a recently released extended preview of the show where Overeem made his intentions crystal clear.
“I’m gonna beat up Brock Lesnar and it’s gonna take me no more than two rounds to do that,” said the 35-11 Dutchman. “Brock definitely doesn’t like to get hit and I’m gonna hit him. And I’m gonna hit him as hard as I can.”

The video also profiles the co-headlining clash between aggressive lightweights Donald Cerrone and Nate Diaz, showing both 155ers’ dislike of one another despite no real run-ins prior to their pairing.
