Mauricio Rua Tops UFC on FOX 5 Salaries

The UFC on FOX 5 salaries were released by the Washington Department of Licensing on Wednesday, and former champion Mauricio Rua topped the list earning $175,000 for his bout against Alexander Gustafsson. Meanwhile, B.J. Penn was right behind him with $150,000 and in third place was Benson Henderson who defended his title against Nate Diaz in the main event.

When including the  two bonuses Scott Jorgensen won on Saturday night, the extra $130,000 catapults him into the second highest paid on the card with $172,000 total.

The payouts are only the required numbers given from the promotion to the commission and don’t include any locker room bonuses, fight bonuses or sponsorship amounts.
