UFC 108: Sean Sherk Versus Jim Miller Reported
By: Fighters.com Staff Posted On: December 11, 2009 at 11:19pmFighters.com’s ninth-ranked lightweight “Muscle Shark” Sean Sherk (33-4-1) will replace Tyson Griffin (14-2) versus “Mongoose” Jim Miller (15-2) at UFC 108 in Las Vegas January 2, according to MMA Weekly.
Sherk was scheduled to fight “Tractor” Rafaello Oliveira (8-2) on the same card. A new opponent will be found for Oliveira.
Sherk lost a unanimous decision to sixth-ranked “The Answer” Frank Edgar (10-1) at UFC 98 in Las Vegas May 23.
Miller won a TKO 45-seconds into round two at UFC 103 in Dallas September 19 when Steve Lopez (2-2) injured his shoulder in his Octagon debut.
Griffin withdrew from the fight with an injury.
