Brendan Schaub and Lavar Johnson were set to face off this past weekend at UFC on FOX 5 but Johnson was forced out of the fight when he pulled his groin in training. Since a replacement couldn’t be found in time, the UFC announced they would reschedule the fight and it sounds like the the company is targeting UFC 157 for the match-up.
Schaub (8-3) is looking to rebound from two first round knockouts from Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira and most recently Ben Rothwell at UFC 145. Johnson (17-6) finished his first two UFC fights in the opening frame, but dropped his most recent one to Stefan Struve by way of Armbar.
