UFC welterweight Rory MacDonald is no stranger to delivering sound beatings when it comes to action inside the Octagon. However, the 23-year old wunderkind’s pummeling of B.J. Penn at UFC on FOX 5 was a sight to behold based on Penn’s reputation as a legitimate legend.
While MacDonald’s win over Penn was impressive to say the least, it ultimately didn’t leave “Ares” satisfied based on his inability to seal the deal against a badly beaten foe.
“I was happy with a lot of it. I’m pissed I didn’t finish him, though. I aim to finish and I didn’t, so the job’s not done for me. It’s bittersweet, but I’m happy.”
On Carlos Condit:
“I was humiliated and embarrassed after that fight and I think about that fight all the time. It haunts me. I really need to get past that chapter in my life.”

Haha I know what you mean Peter!
I want to see Penn drop to 155 pounds or retire. No more welterweight, please.
I agree, 100%
I get a “serial killer” vibe from Rory.
MacDonald is lame. How is he gonna act like he wasn’t showboating?
