UFC light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson put on a tremendous showing against former champion Mauricio Rua last night at UFC on FOX 5, picking “Shogun” apart while standing in addition to some solid work on the ground. The win was Gustafsson’s sixth straight and likely put him in line for a title-shot.

No matter what Shogun will always be one of my all-time favorites. True warrior.
Agreed that size could be an issue for Rua going forward. Definitely no hope of a title-shot at 205 in the near future.
Sad to see a legend on the downslope of his career at age 31.
I wonder if Rua can make 185? Seems too small for the modern age of LHWs.
