Anthony Pettis Comments on Benson Henderson’s Win Over Nate Diaz

Going in to last night’s UFC on FOX 5 main event between lightweight champion Benson Henderson and top contender Nate Diaz it seemed fans would be treated to an evenly matched affair. However, when the dust settled it was Henderson who exited the headliner with his hand raised and in dominant fashion too. “Bendo” looked sharp against Diaz for five rounds, taking him down and punishing him with strikes from every position available.

One interested viewer with a worthwhile opinion weighed in on the matter after the bout’s conclusion in the form of Anthony Pettis. Pettis was the last man to beat Henderson, outpointing him in a classic WEC clash two years ago, and has been within sniffing distance of a title-fight for quite some time.

“Should have gave me the shot,” wrote Pettis on Twitter, summing up his thoughts in a single sentence.
