By: Chad Edward Posted On: December 8, 2009 at 9:16pmAmerican Olympic gold medalist freestyle wrestler Henry Cejudo (0-0) will make his MMA debut in 2010, Cejudo told Tatame.
Cejudo was the youngest American to ever win an Olympic wrestling gold medal when he beat Japan’s Tomohiro Matsunaga in the final of the 55 kg division at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He was 21-years old.
Cejudo is currently training MMA at American Top Team in Florida and told Tatame, “My debut will be amazing, I think it’s gonna be in Japan, in the first half of next year.”
He added, “I chose ATT beacuse it is one of the best camps of the world. I’m liking very much the Muay Thai training and the physical preparation of Stéfane [Dias].”
