You didn’t think there was enough time for there to be an injury and a replacement for UFC on FOX 5 did you?
Apparently, Tim Means was cutting weight in the sauna ahead of weigh-ins for his fight with Abel Trujillo, but slipped and fell resulting in a knockout. UFC President Dana White Tweeted the news this morning, also announcing Marcus LeVesseur will step in to fight Trujillo.
Levesseur also saw his opponent go down with injury when Michael Chiesa withdrew earlier this week, making him available for action against Trujillo.
Dana White wrote:
“The UFC curse strikes again. Tim Means slips in sauna and KO’s himself so now Marcus LeVesseur vs Abel Trujillo.”
