England’s “Semtex” Paul Daley (17-8-2) weighed in Thursday at 174 pounds for his 170-pound match with Canadian “The Natural” John Alessio (23-12) headlining MFC 19: Long Time Coming Friday night in Edmonton, Alberta.
Daley will forfeit 25 percent of his purse.
All other fighters made weight.
A second-round armbar loss to EliteXC Champion Jake Shields (21-4-1) in October ended Daley’s six-fight win streak.
