The Ultimate Fighter 17 Headed to Tuesdays

The Ultimate Fighter 17 will debut on Tuesday January 22 according to UFC 360 magazine. For the last two seasons TUF has aired on Friday nights, though ratings have indicated it is apparently a bad night for the demographic they’re targeting. Until now, lips were sealed as to what night the show would air on in the future with executives simply saying a change was being made.

MMAJunkie Reported:

An advertisement in the new issue of “UFC 360,” formerly known as “UFC Magazine,” declares the upcoming 17th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” debuts on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 9 p.m. ET. UFC and FX officials have yet to make an official announcement, however representatives from both companies have since confirmed the change. UFC President Dana White was a little more coy saying “That day sounds good to me.”

I don’t care what day it’s on unless the fighters are good. The guys this past season have all been boring.

Makes sense considering UFC Tonight and Ultimate Insider are on Tuesdays.
