Despite Low Numbers in Previous Week, TUF 16 Nets 800k Viewers

In the wake of news surrounding Shane Carwin being injured and replaced by Matt Mitrione for the season finale fight against Roy Nelson, The Ultimate Fighter 16 ratings actually went up. Just a week ago, the numbers hit an all-tine low of 643,000 viewers and caused some analysts to say it was panic time. The figures this week went up 25% from last weeks ratings to just over 800,000, a fact no doubt bringing some relief to the higher-ups at Zuffa.

MMAJunkie Reported:

Ratings for the 11th episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 16: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson” were on the uptick from the previous week’s mark. The UFC’s reality competition drew 804,000 viewers on FX, up 25 percent from the 643,000 who tuned in for the debut of episode No. 10 the week prior.

I have no faith that any of the guys from the season will make it into the UFC other than the finalists.
