Liz Carmouche Makes Case For Rousey Fight

Now that its official that Ronda Rousey is the first female champion in the UFC, she is going to need an opponent to defend it in the first womens scrap in the octagon. Liz Carmouche knows that too, and here she makes a case on why she should be  Rousey’s opponent in her debut. There is no word on when Rousey will be in the Octagon for the first time, so there is potentially a bit of time to decide on her first fight, but you can bet many female fighters will be making similar videos.

From MMAPrime:

What do you think fight fans? Should Carmouche get the first run at the new womens strap?

Carmouche is cool. Good sense of humor and a veteran. Would love to see her get that shot.

I think it would be a smart move by the UFC. Rousey should handle Carmouche with relative ease, letting her debut with a win, plus it would be a landmark moment in the sense Carmouche is a lesbian (making for the first openly gay fighter in a UFC main event).
