Dan Henderson “Feeling Good” but Not Fully Healed

History was made a few months back, albeit not the good kind, when the UFC cancelled a card after legendary light heavyweight Dan Henderson suffered an injury that kept him from a headlining tilt with champion Jon Jones. Henderson has been sidelined ever since, resting and rehabbing his bum knee while working towards a return to the ring in late February.

Unfortunately, it sounds like “Hendo” is still dealing with some health-related issues and is limited in the gym. While he expects to face Lyoto Machida at UFC 157 as planned, it’s clearly one step at a time for the beloved brawler…

“I’m feeling good. My knee is still not 100%…I’ve been training, but not at full steam. I think in a month I will be training and 100% focused for this fight.”

“I think this will be a very tough fight. Lyoto is an outstanding fighter, has many qualities, but hopefully I can do better.”

It still makes me mad Henderson didn’t give the UFC more warning before his fight with Jones.

Theres no way that hendo will knock out machida, machida is the hardest guy to hit in mma, and with hendo being as slow as he is, hell never catch machida with that big right, machida will knock hendo out for the first time in his career
