ONE Fighting Championship, Asia’s largest MMA organization, and kickboxing promoter Glory Sports International have joined forces to for an exclusive partnership that will allow Glory entry into the ONE FC Network. ONE FC Network is a fighter sharing program in Asia that features the biggest gyms in the country.
News of the partnership was announced in an official statement from ONE FC.
Going forward, fighters in Glory and ONE FC will now be able to fight in either promotion, as well as Japan’s DREAM, Korea’s Road FC and Australia’s CFC. The partnership starts immediately with the co-promoted NYE event between ONE FC and GLORY that will feature Shinya Aoki, Phil Baroni and Bibiano Fernandes. Glory is also running a sixteen-man heavyweight, single-night tournament featuring Semmy Schilt, Remy Bonjasky, Sergei Kharitonov, Daniel Ghita and many more.
