Bruno Carvalho Signs Multi-Fight Deal With Bellator

Rumors began swirling about three months ago that Bruno Carvalho was considering a move to a major MMA promotion. The heavy-handed striker/muay thai fighter has the type of aggression fans loves to see, so its no shock to hear that he has signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator Fighting Championships. You can expect to see Carvalho in the BFC cage sometime in early 2013 when the promotion is likely to hold a lightweight tournament, but a debut date was not released by executives.

MMAWeekly reported:

Top Brazilian lightweight prospect Bruno Carvalho has signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator Fighting Championships and will begin competing there in 2013…Carvalho’s debut date has not been announced yet, but he’s expected to land on one of the early cards as Bellator shifts to Spike TV.
