There is a very good chance you had a better Thanksgiving than Dennis Hallman. The fighters home in Olympia, Washington burnt down in the early morning hours of Friday, November 23. According to Hallman’s facebook page, everyone was able to get out of the house uninjured, but is clearly distraught about the disaster. Hallman was recently cut from the UFC when he was unable to make weight and fight Thiago Tavares at UFC On FX5, and both were scheduled to fight at ill fated UFC 151.
His Facebook page read:
“Sad thanksgiving for me and my family. My house burned down early this AM. Thank God no one was hurt and I have that to be thankful for. Something like this makes my recent direction change all the harder…the one person that could make me feel okay about everything is no longer here. When God wants you to have a fresh start sometimes he really wants to make his point clear.”

this is one of those situations where I bet Dana steps up…ppl call him an asshole all the time, but he is quick to do stuff like this.
