Injuries plagued Diego Sanchez for most of 2012. His only octagon appearance happened in February when he dropped a unanimous decision to Jake Ellenberger in the main of UFC On FUEL. If Sanchez has his way, it will be more than a year before he is back in the cage. Sanchez announced his drop back to lightweight a few months back, and has now tweeted about a fight he would like to see happen.

Sanchez is referring to Takanori Gomi, a shoe in to be on UFC’s return to Japan in March, but will the UFC matchmaker make it happen?
