Strikeforce Challengers series has returned with it’s twelfth installment, which takes place later tonight at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, Mississippi.
The event is headlined by a pivotal lightweight match up against former top-10 lightweight star/former Shooto champion Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro against top prospect Justin Wilcox.
Serving as the nights co-headliner, “The Ultimate Fighter” veteran Antwain Britt looks to bounce back from his first defeat under the Strikeforce banner when he takes on Ovince St. Preux in what should turn into an interesting stand up affair.
Jan Finney, who some may remember as Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos’ latest victim when she attempted to vie for the promotion’s 145-pound title, was initially unsuccesful in her first attempt at the 135-pound mark for her match up against Liz Carmouche, who weighed in no problem at 134.4 pounds.
Eventually, Finney paired down and came back and weighed in at 135.8, which is acceptable due to the one-pound allowance governed by the Mississippi State Athletic Commission.
The full weigh-in results are as follows for the 8-fight event.
