UFC 109: Randy Couture Versus Mark Coleman Reported

UFC Hall of Famers and former champs “The Natural” Randy Couture (17-10) and “Hammer” Mark Coleman (15-8) have verbally agreed to matchup at UFC 109 in Las Vegas February 6, according to Sherdog.
Forty-six year old Couture narrowly won a three-round unanimous decision over “Truth” Brandon Vera (11-4) in Couture’s return to 205-pounds at UFC 105 in Manchester Saturday.
Forty-four year old Coleman won a unanimous decision over The Ultimate Fighter 1 light heavyweight “American Psycho” Stephan Bonnar (11-6) at UFC 100 in Las Vegas July 11.
The match-up is the oldest in the UFC’s history at a combined 90-years.

Love Couture, he’s the reason I’m such a fan of MMA, yet I can’t help think that if he wins this fight he should end it with a 2 fight win streak. He didn’t look good at all in the Vera fight. And I think the Couture that beat Gonzaga would of won the decision against Nog, but that’s not him anymore. I just don’t want to see him disgrace all that he’s done thus far in MMA. I know he say’s he’s still learning etc, and that may be the case, but his reaction time and his ability to absorb a shot are clearly reduced. Hope I am in that shape at 46, but he cant dominate guys 15+ years younger at that level anymore. Wish them both luck.
