One would think the UFC could stop worrying about fights getting scratched after everyone had weighed in, but UFC 154 has proven it’s possible once again. At UFC on FX in October, Jeremy Stephens was arrested the morning of his bout with Yves Edwards. This morning, hours before Nick Ring was supposed to climb into the Octagon with Constantinos Philippou, he was forced off the card due to illness.

Fiveouncesofpain.com reported:
A last minute illness has forced middleweight Nick Ring out of a bout with Constantinos Philippou planned for the PPV portion of UFC 154. Given the short amount of turnaround time, the match-up has been removed from the card and will likely be rebooked for a future event.

UFC officials announced the change earlier today. As a result, a lightweight tilt between Mark Bocek-Rafael dos Anjos has been bumped up to the main card and a Facebook fight featuringAntonio Carvalho-Rodrigo Damm will now air on FX.
