UFC's Dana White: Brock Lesnar Might "Never Fight Again."

In an interview published Monday, UFC President Dana White told TMZ about Fighters.com’s second-ranked heavyweight and UFC champion Brock Lesnar‘s (4-1) medical condition, saying “There’s a possibility Lesnar will never fight again.”

White repeated his previous statements about Lesnar collapsing in Canada while recovering from mononucleosis and added, “[Lesnar] is very, very sick with an intestinal disorder that will require major surgery.”

White told TMZ he is trying to get Lesnar transferred to the Mayo Clinic.

Lesnar was scheduled to defend his UFC title from sixth-ranked Shane Carwin (9-0).  The former All-American collegiate wrestler and WWE professional wrestling entertainer is one of the greatest athletes to enter MMA’s heavyweight division during the sport’s 16-year history and has the potential to evolve into one of the greatest fighters in MMA.

This really does suck. I hope he does recover fully otherwise this will become a story of how Brock had the potential to be the best Heavyweight MMA fighter ever but was cut short before he could prove it. I am a believer that Brock is the real deal. We’ll see how this plays out. Hopefully he does pull through better than ever.

Hopefully he recovers and can still fight. I am not a Brock fan but I have no desire to see him leave the sport without fighting some of the better fighters in the HW division.

This really does suck, because it gives the haters and the non believers a target to shoot @ . I hope he gets better, I don’t like brock, i wanna see him get his ass wooped, but if he can prove hes the best then let him prove it, let him earn that respect from the fans, don’t call him the best until hes fought 30 fights!!! and won the majority!!!

Yes, I’m biased. I’m not a writer, a ref or a judge. Its my opinion and I’m fully aware of my over the top bias. I hated this jerk from the rumor he would come ruin the sport I’ve loved since before MMA was a term to be held in the mouths of the NASCAR crowd that now follows it. I have absolutely no respect for this fighter.

Let me add. I don’t want him to die. That would be bad. Hope he lives through all of this and his family has him home soon. I’m a dick about fighting but not life. A friend of mine had a hard go of ulcerative colitis, and I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain or problems on anyone, including Brock.

I don’t see how Brock’s condition can affect MMA. He’s a mediocre fighter he can be something in about five years if he doesn’t quit training but I think this kind of illneses are the perfect excuse for steroid “athletes” to quit sports and leave doubts in unexperienced minds like Dana White lovers UFC super fans. Heavyweights that want to progress in this sport should find their paths outside the UFC, it’s heavyweight division is a disgrace.

I am not a fan of Brock, but even I wish him luck. No one deserves to go through such shit.

It’s too bad he’s too ill to fight or train. He has tons of potential, as yet he is an unproven superstar, he has not faced any serious competition at this point, given his size and strength. I hope he makes it back to the octagon so we can find out if he is the real deal or not. If he doesn’t get back to fighting it will never be settled whether or not he has what it takes to be taken seriously as an MMA fighter. I’m not his biggest fan, but he definitely has the athletic ability to be great, with more fights and training who knows how good he could become. I hope he gets better and comes back so we can see whether or not he is for real or just a side note in the story of MMA.

I don’t really like Brock Lesnar, but no one deserves to have their title taken this way. Hope he comes back. It sucks to have your title taken without being able to fight for it.

Until anyone defeats him and takes his title, you have to give him the benefit of the doubt on his domination so far.Don’t want to see him retire early due to illness.I do want to see someone beat him though and much luck to those who try because he’s a beast.

That is such bull, Dana White is just making excuses for Lesnar, rumor has it that Lesnar was feeling sick, the doctors later found out that he had liver disease. After further diagnosis they found out that Lesnar had bone growth on his spine(acromegaly) which was caused by him eating the raw pituitary gland from his cattle, eating the pituitary gland is supposed to elevate HGH and speed recovery.
