This past Saturday night’s UFC on FOX event was a decade in the making but came and went in the blink of an eye with a sixty-four second stamp capping off a memorable evening, especially for those who tuned in to catch a plethora of entertaining preliminary pairings including “Fight of the Night” between lightweights Clay Guida and Ben Henderson.
Shortly after the house lights went back to full blast and the crowd cleared out, headliners Cain Velasquez and newly-named champion Junior dos Santos faced the press alongside Guida, Henderson, and UFC President Dana White to discuss their performances and the show in general.

“Establish the punches and kicks, put a little pressure forward, and take it where I was gonna take it,” said Velasquez of his strategy entering what would turn out to be the first loss of his career. “Not to force anything….fight smart…and I didn’t do that tonight.”
