UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva said in a recent interview that he wanted to take some time off to film an action movie and spend time with his family. Silva said he didn’t want to fight in 2013, and that statement is not sitting well with Michael Bisping. Bisping is scheduled to fight Vitor Belfort in January at UFC on FX 7, and now Bisping wants to raise the stakes.
Bisping tweeted to UFC President Dana White:
“If Anderson wants to take time off to be a movie star make me and vitor for the interim title????”
UFC President Dana White has not replied to the comments.

I think bisbing deserves it as well, unfortunatly, he will not get the chance due to getting knocked CLEAN the f**k out by vitor belfort, SO…….give it to VITOR!!!!

Im all for it… Bisping is gonna have his hands full with Belfort-he should focus on that. I dont think Silva is taking a year off..he is posturing for more money in GSP fight.
He came the closest to beating Jones….Im all for it.
