UFC Champ Anderson Silva Challenged By NFL

Outspoken Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco called out Fighters.com and UFC Middleweight Champion “Spider” Anderson Silva (25-4) to fight for charity Wednesday night.  UFC President Dana White accepted the challenge on behalf of Silva.

“Awesome! I’m fighting Anderson Silva,” Ochocinco replied on his Twitter page.  “I can’t wait to throw my child please combo with a kiss da baby leg kick, Silva can shut the front door!”

The back-and-forth between Ochocinco, formerly Chad Johnson, and White began when Ochocinco posted to White’s Twitter page, “Dana this Ocho Cinco, I want to fight your #1 and #2 best fighters asap, exhibition to raise money for a charity of choice!!!!!!”  Ochocinco added, “Matter of fact I want Anderson Spider Silva—please don’t ignore me or you’ll have to fight me yourself!!! Sincerely Esteban :)

Initially ignored, a relentless Ochocinco posted, “Mr. White this a serious matter, we can help alot organazations with this fight, I have a good chance at winning against Silva.”

Finally White replied, “If you are really serious @OGOchoCinco, contact me.  We’ll put a fight together for charity.”

An Ochocinco versus Silva fight reignites a Silva/Cincinnati rivalry that began when Silva dethroned former UFC middleweight champion and Cincinnati native “Ace” Rich Franklin (26-5) at UFC 64 in Las Vegas in October 2006, then stopped Franklin again in Cincinnati at UFC 77 a year later.

Ochocinco has been training boxing and attends local boxing events in Cincinnati.

After White and Ochocinco agreed to the matchup for charity, fourth-ranked light heavyweight “Sugar” Rashad Evans (13-1-1) chimed in, “U know what 85 we don’t need 2 have Dana set up the fight i would like 2 fight u.. Get your game up!”

Ochocinco doesn’t liike anyone disrespecting him. Why does he want to disrespect the UFC community, and their champion. For Ochocinco health, he better off fighting Kimbo Slice in a boxing match for Charity, at least he will come out alive. Bloodly!!! But Alive!! Ed CHARGERTOWN

Here is my expert opinion. The draw would be unsurpassed. They should use the funds to Open the Ochocino Trauma Center. But here are the problems with the event .
    1. Snuff television isnt legal .
    2. If Esteban did actually survive , he certainly would be the first patient , and permanent resident of the Ochocinco Trauma Center.
Dana should call his bluff, demanding Ocho sign a contract that includes a personal million dollar donation to the named charity , if he backs out for any reason , period.

If this happens, and it’s legit, Chad Sietequatro will be in big trouble. I’m picturing him running around the cage looking for an exit.

Jeff I seriously hope you are kidding.

Too fast for Anderson? How many times have you seen Anderson get out-speeded by his opponent? Chad might be a faster runner, but unless he’s planning on running from Anderson, that’s not gonna mean much.

    Let’s look at Anderson’s advantages:
    Extremely skilled
    Very fast
    Nearly impossible to hit
    Incredible cardio
    Deadly knees
    75% striking accuracy
    BJJ Black Belt
    Lots of KO power
    Incredible chin
    Likely has a longer reach
    Actual knowledge of fighting
    Best fighter in the world

    Chad Ochocinco advantages:
Probably better than Anderson at Football
May be able to haul ass and run from Silva to avoid getting KTFO’d, but with Silva’s speed, it’s unlikely
