Strikeforce Undercard Results: Nate Moore Taps Out Louis Taylor on Strikes
By: Jason F. Hatcher Posted On: November 8, 2009 at 2:28pmMiddleweight Nate Moore (6-1) forced Louis Taylor (3-1) to tap on strikes in the second round at Strikeforce in Chicago Friday night.
Round one was a display of dirty boxing and warnings to Taylor by the referee for grabbing his opponent’s shorts. In most minds, Moore edged Taylor on the scorecards at round’s end.
The second round opened with more of the same performance from Moore as the referee temporarily stopped the bout to take a point away from Taylor for grabbing the shorts of his opponent. As the fight resumed, Moore turned on the heat forcing Taylor to tap out at the 3:24 mark of round two due to strikes.
