Former The Ultimate Fighter 1 contestant “Assassin” Alex Karalexis (10-4) has withdrawn from his matchup with Kamal Shalorus (4-0-1) scheduled for WEC 44 in Las Vegas November 18, Fighters.com has confirmed with Karalexis.
“I just broke my hand again, so I’m out for a bit,” Karalexis told Fighters.com Thursday morning.
The fight was removed from the WEC 44 fight card at the WEC website. Fighters.com has not confirmed whether Shalorus will matchup versus a replacement or postpone his WEC debut.
