UFC's Corey Hill To Make Comeback in January

UFC lightweight “Real Deal” Corey Hill (2-2) is eying a return to the UFC as soon as January 2010, according to an exclusive interview with MMA Weekly.
Hill told MMA Weekly, “I want to not just return, I want to return as a better fighter.”
In most minds, Hill won the first round of his December 2008 fight versus Dale Hartt (5-1) at UFC Fight Night 16 in Fayetteville. But, in the second round Hill suffered one of the worse injuries in the history of mixed martial arts when his shin snapped as his leg kick was checked by Hartt.
Hill underwent surgery the next morning, thus far resulting in an 11-month absence from competition and a total loss of income for the entire calendar year.
Hill said, “It would have been very easy for the MMA world to never see me again. A lot of my friends were like, ‘we can understand if you don’t go back.’ But that was a copout.”
Hill continued, “I’ve been taught through life experience, if it’s easy, you usually don’t appreciate it as much as if you work your butt off. When you get there, it feels a lot better.”
