If there were any questions about how seriously the UFC treats suspensions for marijuana use, welterweight Matt Riddle has been booked for a bout in November despite being popped for the drug in late July and serving a three-month suspension as a result. Riddle also had a Submission of the Night win changed to a No Contest based on the infraction.
Recently, Riddle’s name was announced in connection with a clash at UFC 154 involving Besam Yousef. Yousef was originally scheduled to face Stephen Thompson who was recently forced to withdraw from the event due to injury.
All of Riddle’s bouts have come inside the Octagon where he’s compiled a 6-3 record. With his summer success against Chris Clements nullified, Riddle is coming off an entertaining decision win over Henry Martinez from this past February which snapped a two-fight losing streak for the Ultimate Fighter 7 veteran.

Yousef is 6-1 in his career but came up short in his UFC debut in April. Five of his victories have involved some form of finish.
UFC 154 is set for November 17 with Georges St-Pierre defending his welterweight belt against Carlos Condit in headlining action.
