According to reports, Brazillian jiu-jitsu ace Robert Drysdale will not be making his UFC debut at UFC 167. The Nevada State Athletic Commission administered an out of competition drug test before medically clearing Drysdale, and when his testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) ratio came back as 19-1, they refused to grant him a license. His T/E ratio wass more than three times the allowable limit. Drysdale was scheduled to fight Cody Donovan, but it is unclear what the UFC will do with the bout.
MMAJunkie was the first to report the story and it is unclear if he will be fined or suspended. UFC 167: St-Pierre Vs Hendricks takes place Saturday November 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre will take on number one contender Johny Hendricks for all the welterweight marbles. In the co main event, Light Heavyweights ‘Sugar’ Rashad Evans will take on Chael Sonnen.
