The UFC makes its triumphant return to Manchester, England today with UFC Fight Night: 30: Machida Vs Munoz, and as always Fighters.com will be bringing you live results and play by play. In the main event, Lyoto Machida will be making his middleweight debut in a five round bout against Mark Munoz to see who takes a big step up in the middleweight division. In the co main event, lightweights Ross Pearson and Melvin Guillard are set to throw down.

PLAY BY PLAY

Michael Kuiper vs. Brad Scott

Kuiper the fav in this one, and he takes the center and lands a nice double jab. Both fighters are exchanging leg kicks. Scott lands a nice uppercut and gets the clinch. Kuiper defending the takedown well on the fence as Scott is landing knees to his legs. Kuiper gets the trip takedown, but Scott pops back up and we are back on the fence. Scott lands a nice punch in the clinch and the ref is threatening the separation. Scott takes the center and Kuiper lands a nice leg kick. Scott comes forward and lands a cross and a hook to the body. In a scramble, Kuiper attempts a trip and ends up on the floor. As he gets up Scott laces up a front choke and gets the tap.

Jimy Hettes vs. Robert Whiteford

Whiteford takes the center and lands a straight right. Hettes is circling and he lands a nice leg kick. Hettes coming forward lands a nice jab and gets the clinch. Whiteford turns it around and puts Hettes on the fence. Whiteford is working hard for a takedown and gets the back. Hettes gets the takedown and almost had an americana and Whiteford escapes but gets mounted. Whiteford is trying to stand up but Hettes is working to lace up the RNC with one hook in along the fence. Whiteford gets his back taken and Hettes gets the other hook. Whiteford scrambles up and out and lands a nice hook, but he gets taken down again as the horn sounds.

Round 2
Whiteford takes the center and is flashing his jab early. Hettes is stalking forward and lands a straight left of his own. Hettes lands a nice knee tot he chin of Whiteford in the clinch and uses it to take down Whiteford again. Once again Hettes gets the back and they are hand fighting for the choke. Whiteford rolls over and Hettes ends up on the bottom and slips in the triangle choke. Whiteford doesn’t tap and gets choked out.

Cole Miller vs. Andy Ogle
Round 1(ref: Leon Roberts)
Ogle takes the center and Miller is flashing the jab early. Ogle lands a nice straight to the body and Miller lands a nice right hand. Miller is landing his right hand, at least three in a row. Miller ends up in the muay thai clinch and lands some solid knees to the body and chin of Miller. Ogle pushes Miller on the fence, but Miller reverses it. Ogle gets the takedown, but Miller sneaks out the back door and ends up on the back of Ogle. Miller laces up a body triangle and we are hand fighting. One way traffic for Miller on the ground. Ogle is throwing punches back, but he has no answer for his ground game.

Round 2
Miller lands some nice straights right away as Ogle comes forward. Ogle lands a pair of leg kicks and eats an uppercut. Ogle shoots in and has ahold of his leg. Miller laces up a guillotine but Ogle weasels his way out of it but ends up on top. Miller briefly reverses, but Ogle retains top position. Ogle gets the weep again, and right into an armbar position. Miller uses it to take the back in a body triangle. Miller lands some punches as the round ends.

Round 3
Miller eats a body kick, but Ogle is paying for it. Ogle is really landing on Miller so far. Alot of hooks coming in. Ogle gets the takedown and is landing elbows on Miller. Ogle is doing well on the ground, but Miller is creating space and slowly getting away from the fence. Ogle is staying heavy on Miller and landing shots to the body and more elbows. Miller almosts gets up and lands an upkick as the round ends.

Jessica Andrade vs. Rosi Sexton
Round 1(ref: Neal Hal)
Sexton takes the center and Andrade starts landing quickly and is lighting up Sexton. Sexton circles and escapes, but against eats another big right hand. Sexton throws a leg kick, and almost gets taken down. Sexton gets pressed up against the cage and eats some big right hands. Andrade is countering well and Sexton is getting pummeled in there. Sexton lands some nice knees from the clinch, but Andrade is coming forward and landing solid shots. Sexton lands a nice right hand that slows down Andrade a little bit. Andrade gets a uchi matta and ends up in sidemount. Sexton gets up and lands a right hand and shoots, but Andrade defends well. Andrade lands a right hand that drops Sexton, and then lands an illegal knee at the bell.

Sexton takes the center and Andrade is just lighting up Sexton. Sexton is fighting back and shoots for a takedown. Andrade defends and lands a solid left hand. Andrade is back to lighting up Sexton on the fence, and eats a big knee. Sexton comes forward and eats a big two piece from Jessica. Andrade closes the distance again, and Sexton is some how staying on her feet. Sexton is just being a punching bag but she is staying on her feet. Sexton throws some punches but she is missing. Rogan is saying the fight should be stopped. Sexton gets the takedown as the round ends.

Round 3
Andrade takes the center and although Sexton is landing more, but Andrade is still teeing off on her. Sexton shoots and gets put up against the fence. Sexton circles out and Andrade is landing the one two over and over again. Sexton lands a big right hand, but Andrade fires back with a two piece. Sexton is a mess, and Andrade is really working the body kicks. Andrade is back to pounding on her. Sexton shoots and gets stuffed as the last minute winds down. Andrade is just picking her apart and Sexton is just surviving. Andrade lands a nice 4 piece as the round ends.

Luke Barnatt vs. Andrew Craig

Barnatt takes the center and is coming forward Craig is working the leg kicks and misses big on a right hand. Barnatt is still coming forward and is landing jabs and Craig lands a nice two piece. Craig eats a right hand, but lands a nice leg kick. Craig is doing well ducking and fainting. Barnatt clinches and lands a knee but Craig shakes out. Craig is really throwing the leg kicks, and Barnatt starts to land his jab and is putting together combinations. Craig lands a big right hand, and he seems to have the timing down of Barnatt. Barnatt lands a nice over hand right, but he is only landing one at a time. Craig still coming forward. Craig lands a left hook that comes in hot. Barnatt lands a big right hand that drops Craig and starts pounding on him. Barnatt goes to pound him out after thinking the fight was over. Craig survives the round on rubber legs.

Round 2
Barnatt takes the center and Craig’s punches are coming in slower. Craig lands a nice overhand right, but Barnatt goes back to work with the jab. Excellent head movement from Barnatt and his punches are coming hot now. Barnatt is the one landing first now and Craig gets dropped again. Barnatt gets the takedown and in a scramble gets the back of Craig. He sinks in the choke and gets the tap.

Piotr Hallmann vs. Al Iaquinta

Iaquinta the fav in this one. Iaquinta quickly takes the fight down and as he gets up Hallmann is getting back taken. Hallmann warned for grabbing the cage. Hallmann escapes and Iaquinta lands a nice body kick. Hallmann coming forward and lands a kick of his own. Hallmann lands a ice hook and a knee to the body.Iaquinta seems to be slower to the punch so far. Iaquinta lands a nice elbow and Hallmann lands a nice head kick. Hallmann stuffs the takedown and is backing up Iaquinta. Hallmann is landing a solid one-two and then a nice elbow. Iaquinta lands a nice uppercut, but the striking is going the way of Hallmann. Iaquinta lands a nice body kick, but eats a cross for his efforts. Hallmann still coming forward and defends the takedown again and Hallmann takes him down.

Hallmann takes the center and Iaquinta throws some jabs and a hook to the body. Hallmann lands a nice straight right and goes high with a kick. Hallmann is throwing 3 punches when Iaquinta is just throwing one. Hallmann gets the takedown, but Iaquinta scrambles up. Iaquinta lands a nice right hand. Hallmann lands a solid body kick and the pace is slowing a bit. Iaquinta s coming forward and eats a 3 piece and a knee to the body. Iaquinta lands a solid leg kick. Iaquinta wobbles Hallmann with a right and lands until he pulls him down. Iaquinta swarms but Hallmann survives and gets out. Hallmann eats a one two as he gets away and Iaquinta goes to the body.

Hallmann opens with a body kick. Hallmann shoots and almost gets the takedown, but lands a right hook as he escapes. Hallmann is trying to get the fight down, but Iaquinta is defending well. Hallmann fakes a shot and lands a two piece. Iaquinta pokes Hallmann in the eye. We are back. Iaquinta lands a right hand and Hallmann is still coming forward. Hallmann lands a nice body kick. Hallmann goes to the body and then to the head. Hallmann gets the takedown but Iaquinta pops back up and gets kicked. Iaquinta gets the takedown but Hallmann uses the cage to get up. Hallmann lands a solid knee but gets taken down again.

Phil Harris vs. John Lineker
Round 1(ref: Neil Hall)
Lineker coming forward early and going to the body of Harris. Harris is landing as well. Lineker lands a nice left hook, and he gets wobbled and dropped. Harris eats a big uppercut and Harris is barely awake but not going down. Harris eats a hook to the liver and goes down.

Nicholas Musoke vs. Alessio Sakara

Musoke with the reach advantage in this one, but Sakara is the fav. Sakara takes the center and Musoke opens with a jab, and right away Sakara lands on Musoke and sweeps him down. Sakara lands some shots on the ground, and lets him up. They exchange again and Musoke lands a big shot on Sakara and swarms on him. Musoke gets the takedown and moves into side mount, but Sakara puts him in half guard. Sakara sweeps and is standing over Musoke landing ground and pound. Musoke eats a huge elbow and grabs Sakara’s arm and rolls for an armbar.

Norman Parke vs. Jon Tuck

Tuck starts the bout out kicking and Parke fires back. Both fighters pawing jabs and Tuck lands a nice body kick. Parke fires back one of his own. Parke is the one coming forward and being patient. Parke lands a solid straight left and Tuck comes forward and lands a 1-2. Tuck with a straight right through the high guard of Tuck. Parke lands a nice 3 piece. Tuck swarms on Parke after he eats an eye poke the ref didn’t see. Tuck lands a 1-2 and Parke circles out. Tuck is really starting land, but Parke is countering well. Tuck lands a 2 piece and Parke fires right behind it. Parke is coming forward now and throwing kicks. Tuck throws a hard one of his own. Both exchange body shots. Parke gets the take down as the bell sounds.

Tuck comes out firing the jab. Parke is still coming forward and lands a nice straight to the body. Tuck lands a hard body kick and Parke is landing to the body with punches. Parke lands a 3 piece and Tuck is slowing down. Tuck is throwing one at a time and Parke is landing in pairs. Parke with a nice kick to the body of his own. Tuck lands a 1-2 but Parke comes right back with three. Parke is getting the better of the exchanges and is landing his left hand at will. Tuck lands a pair of low kicks, but Parke still coming forward and landing the left. Tuck swings wild and Parke makes him pay for it with a combineation.

Tuck still on his bike as Parke comes forward. Parke is going to the body and is now opening up with the kicks. Tuck flashes an upkick but then goes to the body of Parke. Tuck is still throwing one punch at a time and Parke is throwing combinations. Tuck is jabbing to the body and lands a 1-2, but Parke is still putting it all together. Tuck lands a solid knee when Parke ducks under a shot. Parke lands a nice combination but Tuck is picking up the pace a little bit. Tuck lands a solid body kick and Parke slides to the left and lands a solid overhand left. Slick 2 shot combination from Parke and Tuck is still standing in the pocket throwing. Parke throws some wild kicks that don’t land and the bell sounds.

Ryan Jimmo vs. Jimi Manuwa

Jimmo comes running out and throwing. Jimmo lands a low kick but eats a straight right hand for his troubles. Manuwa grabs a kick to go for a takedown, but Jimmo turns it around and puts him on the fence. Jimmo is landing some solid knees. Ref breaks them up. Jimmo with his back on the cage and Manuwa is now landing knees to the legs of Jimmo. Jimmo is grimacing as he eats these knees. Jimmo now limping and Manuwa lands a hard leg kick. Jimmo lands a nice right hand. Manuwa going after the leg. Jimmo lands a crafty hook but Manuwa is flashing more kicks. Manuwa lands a hook kick. Manuwa lands a body kick and a left hand. Jimmo lands a few jabs, but this one goes to Manuwa.

Round 2
Manuwa opens with a right hand and then a leg kick. Jimmo clinches and puts Manuwa on the fence. AFter a few knees the ref breaks them up. Manuwa lands a big kick to the body. Manuwa is walking down Jimmo and landing kicks. Jimmo is occasionally landing but so far its Manuwa. Jimmo lands a nice body kick of his own. Manuwa swarms and lands a two piece. and puts Jimmo on the fence. Manuwa lands a few knees until Jimmo turns it around. Jimmo takes one to the pills. We break. Manuwa coming forward landing some leg kicks, and Jimmo clinches and puts Manuwa on the fence. The problem is he is doing so very little with it. Manuwa opens with a hook. Manuwa lands a knee to the head and Jimmo backs up, and then he falls to the ground. Fight is over with a leg injury.

Melvin Guillard vs. Ross Pearson
Round 1(ref: Marc Goddard)

Guillard opens with a jab and Pearson fires back. Leg kick by Pearson and Guillard misses with a one two. Guillard lands an overhand right and he keeps throwing an uppercut. Guillard is landing his jab at will but Pearson is still coming forward. Pearson throws a flying knee and Guillard takes him down. As he gets up Guillard lands an illegal knee. Pearson gets busted open, and they pause in action. Goddard waives the fight, and is saying that the second knee was illegal and its a no contest.

Lyoto Machida vs. Mark Munoz
Round 1(ref: Leon Roberts)
Machida takes the center and the feeling out begins. Munoz eats a low kick and misses on a counter. Munoz is doing alot of dancing. Munoz misses on a shot as Machida steps aside. Machida lands a solid body kick. Munoz is on his bike and eats a jab from Machida. Machida goes to the body again with a kick and then to the legs. Machida goes up stairs with a kick, and Munoz goes out cold. Holy shit.
