Shark Fights heavyweight Bobby Lashley has found a new home in MMA after a spell in professional wrestling and stints in Strikeforce/Titan FC. He is currently the proud owner of a 6-1 professional record.
Lashley was scheduled to face TUF 10 alum Darrill Schoonover at Shark Fights 21 on November 11 in Lubbock, Texas. However, due to a shoulder injury, Schoonover has been force off of the card.
Schoonover had held the Shark Fights heavyweight crown since before his time on TUF but was supposed to make his first defense of the division’s belt at next month’s event.
Stepping in to fight Lashley will most likely be UFC veteran Tim Hague. Hague has been signed and released by the UFC three times. He will enter the clash with a trio of triumphs in his last four fights with all of the wins coming inside three minutes. His last fight was a September 16 submission victory over Vince Lucero at Aggression MMA 8.
Lashley holds an overall record of 6-1 with past wins over Wes Sims and Bob Sapp with his most recent performance coming at Titan FC 17 where he picked up a decision over John Ott.

However, while the organization has announced Hague’s involvement in the bout, the 28-year old Canadian has since stated the contract has not actually been signed.
