Corey Grant To Fill-in For Joe Warren at Vale Tudo Japan

Undefeated Team Quest wrestler “Savage” Cory Grant (3-0) will fight Japanese lightweight “Moon Wolf” Rumina Sato (26-12-2) at Vale Tudo Japan 2009 at JCB Hall in Tokyo October 30.

“Moon Wolf” was originally scheduled to fight Team Quest’s Joe Warren (2-1) in a highly-anticipated matchup, but Warren was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Grant won a unanimous decision over Joe Kelso (1-2) at King of Champions in Denver June 27.

Sato has lost his last four fights, and six of his last seven fights.  Most recently, Sato was TKO’d by “Lion” Takeshi Inoue (13-3) at Shooto in Tokyo May 10.
