Strikeforce aiming to have all champions to fight on January card

As a means of establishing some faith on the part of fans after cancelling a second straight show, Strikeforce promised to deliver a stacked lineup this coming January. However, the organization didn’t provide any specifics at the time.

With more than a week having passed since the initial announcement, officials have decided to be a bit more forthcoming with information. According to CEO Scott Coker, the 2013 event will likely feature appearances from all of Strikeforce’s biggest stars including title-defenses from Gilbert Melendez, Ronda Rousey, Nate Marquardt, and Luke Rockhold. Daniel Cormier is also expected to grace the card.

Coker’s comments on the matter came in a conversation with MMAFighting.
